What is BFF?
BFF - Bearlot Furry Friends
Based in Dubai UAE and soon to expand to more countries, BFF is the mastermind of 2 sisters that love their furry friends. They set out to create a platform that makes it easier to adopt / foster and keep on top of all things pet related in the UAE (initially).
Problem
The pet industry in the UAE is very fragmented leaving users the unsavoury task of jumping from one platform to another to another for all their pet needs.
Challenge
I was brought in to create a unified user experience for their dream platform. The challenges was to capture all the varied features and ideas for solving the 'problem' in one seamless identity.
Started with
research
I began research by scrubbing through social media to find out what people are saying about doing "side quests" in their lives.
What I
found?
The concept of 'Side quests' are wide spread on the internet and people are familiar with doing activities in contrast to their normal daily routine.
But there are no platforms that focus on enabling us to achieve these side quests.

The methodology used was agile. The process was to complete the initial design concepts, refine the design system (improve consistency) and ultimately complete the work for launch! 🚀

To best complete the challenge highlighted above, I've come up with the following features

Home
The home page focuses on adoption/fostering. it's a swipe deck style for a smooth user experience to finding your next purrfect companion.
Scrolling down reveals more information about the pet in view.
The toggle on the top right switches between pets available for adoption or for fostering
Top left button ✉️ shows the amount of request available to the user
Bottom right button 🩶 saves the pet to the user's favourites page which they can come back to later and make the important final decision 😺

This is your main dashboard to keep track of your pets.
All things relating to your pets can be found here, you can create a profile of your existing pet with all the relevant information.

Subscription & Boosters
The subscription model on paper may appear complex to new users, with 2 main categories with 3 sub-categories each.
This page simplifies the subscription model with a layout that eases comparison between the 2 main categories and then even more with the sub-categories.
Below each sub category is a description that helps the user compare what they're going to get!
